EER Handgun Scopes
It’s a fact: today’s large caliber/lightweight handguns deliver crushing recoil that tops some of the hardest kicking rifles. That’s why Leupold puts such effort into building and relentlessly testing our EER (Extended Eye Relief) handgun scopes.
It follows that our attention to detail is why so many manufacturers of powerful handguns such as Magnum Research® and Freedom Arms® recommend and sell Leupold EER scopes.
The M8-2x20mm EER is our classic handgun scope, while the M8-4x28mm EER offers more magnification. The Vari-X 2.5-8x32mm EER may just be the finest variable power handgun scope available.
Of course, each EER scope offers generous and forgiving eye relief for fast target acquisition, as well as an exceptionally bright, crisp sight picture that is rich in visual detail and contrast. All three models have Multicoat 4 anti-reflective lens coating.
Doug Koenig ... Leupold Shooter
Team Leupold’s Doug Koenig, considered by many to be the world’s best all-around shooter, just keeps on proving it. In 2001, Doug won his eighth Masters International Shooting Championship, as well as his fifth NRA Bianchi Cup. In 2000, Doug also had a year of unprecedented success, winning the 2000 Steel Challenge, the Masters International Shooting Championship, and the NRA Bianchi Cup. His record overall speaks volumes as well. Over the past ten years, Doug Koenig has won eight Masters Championships, six NRA Bianchi Cups, the IPSC World Championship, the European Bianchi Cup, three Steel Challenges, and has been a member of six victorious Sportsman Team Challenge Championship teams. His scope of choice? Leupold. "I owned Leupold scopes even before I became involved with the company," Doug says. "I can’t afford products I can’t rely on.”
